My new rubber plug arrived today, what a rip off for $6.+ $4 postage to get it to me some 65 miles.
after looking at the plug I can see how to make it a permanent fix. I'll drill a 4mm or so hole and use fender washers on both side and a through bolt to squeeze it tightly in the hole, I'll post results when I've done the job. Max
